Looking for a resilient and beautiful flooring option that’s also budget-friendly in San Clemente CA?
Then Grind and Seal concrete floors are perfect for you. These finishes have been a very popular option for homeowners and businesses alike.
Step 1 – Surface grind concrete with large machines to remove any surface contaminants, tile thinset/mortar, carpet glue or mastics, etc.
Step 2 – Detail clean and patch of holes and/or cracks with a choice of patch compounds suitable for your needs.
Step 3 – Finish detail smooth grind of the entire surface again.
Step 4 – Full detail cleaning/washing as needed.
Step 5 – Apply a minimum of 2 coats of your finish sealer of choice (high solids acrylic, water, or solvent-based epoxy and/or urethane resins in a matte/flat, satin/semi-gloss or gloss finish.

Step 1 – Surface grinding starts similar to the Grind and Seal process although we use more aggressive cutting and finish diamonds over the process. The Polish system starts with a series of aggressive diamonds of 30/40 and 60/80 grit metals.
Step 2 – The hybrid ceramic grinding process starts typically at 30g, 100g, and 200g along with the use of silicate concrete densifiers to ultimately harden the concrete surface to be “polished”.
Step 3 – After multi coats of densifier we finish the grind sequence with a series of diamond resins based on the desired shine level in the final polishing grind passes to grit spec of 200g, 400g, 800g, 1500g, or 3000g
(in order of lowest shine gloss to highest shine gloss)
Step 4 – After the floor is fully grind polished it gets a detailed cleaning and application of a “surface guard” and final machine buff/burnish to complete a perfect surface finish.
*Stains and dye tint colors can be added to either option during the process.
*As all concrete is unique this is a general basic overview of each process and we adjust as needed to perfect our process and method for each and every project. Your happiness and the end result is our #1 priority.
*Any sealer application can be used with our safe grip sand to aid in a non-skid finish on interior or exterior applications in San Clemente California.
Q: What is interior polished and sealed concrete?
A: We refinish and finish existing concrete to create polished concrete floors or sealed concrete floors with a clean, modern look. We offer process options that let us tailor sheen, color tint, and slip resistance to your goals.
Q: Do you pour new concrete or refinish existing floors?
A: We refinish existing concrete floors, we do not pour new concrete. At Infinity Concrete Coatings, we focus exclusively on restoring, refinishing, and polishing concrete surfaces to upgrade the slab you already have.
Q: What is the difference between grind and seal and true polishing?
